Pricing
Why does this item show "Compare at" with a higher price?
The "Compare at" price is the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP). Our Special Orders are priced below MSRP so you save vs. buying direct.
Is the price the same as if I bought directly from the manufacturer?
We're typically priced 5–10% below MSRP. You skip the hunt for the right distributor, get one consolidated order with us, and have the option of in-store pickup.
Shipping & Pickup
Why does it take 5 to 10 days?
Because we place a wholesale order with our distributor, they pull and ship it to our shop, then we either set it aside for your pickup or re-ship to you. Most of that timeline is the distributor-to-MRS step. Some items take longer, and lead times can vary by distributor. We will do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible.
Can I track my order?
We'll send you an email when your order arrives at our shop. If you chose shipping, you'll get a tracking number when we ship the second leg to you.
Stock & Availability
Is "Special Order" status the same as "Out of Stock"?
No. Special Order means we don't physically stock it — we order it from a distributor for each customer. The product may be in stock at the distributor, or it may be backordered. The listing tells you which.
I don't see the kit I want. Can you still get it?
Yes, often. Call our shop or email us with the kit name, SKU, or manufacturer link. If our distributors carry it, we'll add it.
Returns
What's your return policy on Special Orders?
Same as our main store. Contact us within 30 days of receipt for any issues.
Can I cancel a Special Order before it ships?
Yes, as long as we haven't already placed the wholesale order with the distributor. Call or email us as soon as possible.
