1/32 ICM I-153 Chaika, WWII Soviet Fighter
The I-153 'Chaika' was the last and most sophisticated biplane fighter designed by the N. N. Polikarpov bureau. With its distinctive gull-shaped upper wing, retractable chassis, and powerful armament of four ShKAS machine guns, this model is a true representation of Soviet aviation prowess during WWII. The production series initially featured M-62 radial engines, with later versions upgraded to the more powerful M-63 engines. This aircraft was a key component of the Soviet Fighter Aviation from 1939 to 1941 and saw combat until mid-1943.
